Welcome to KNP +

Karnataka Network for People living with HIV/AIDS (KNP+) is a state level network of HIV positive people in Karnataka registered under Karnataka Societies Registration Act on 18th of September 1998 located at Bangalore. It is affiliated to Indian Network for People Living with HIV/AIDS (INP+), Chennai. KNP+ is an organization of people living with HIV/AIDS whose objective is to help community people to live their lives with dignity, self respect and a better quality of life. Bringing together HIV positive people enables community to speak through one single forum with a sense of belonging and in a single strong voice. KNP+ believes that positive people are part of the solution in addressing the AIDS epidemic.

KNP+ was formed as a result of needs of positive people extended beyond the realm of clinical care. These needs include livelihood support to take care of medical needs, nutrition, shelter, care of children, psycho-social support, protection against stigma and discrimination, violations of human rights, legal support, access to quality care and treatment with a population living with HIV and AIDS in Karnataka.
